Cornwall Coast
In this painting I wanted to capture the colour and texture of this rugged and dramatic Cornish coastline around the Lizard Peninsular. Sketches and photographs were taken while walking the coastal path and the painting was created some time later in my studio. As with much of my work, this is not an attempt to recreate a specific vista, more an attempt to capture the mood and spirit of this wonderful coastline.
